The Fact

The three Brontë sisters published a book of poetry under different pseudonyms, titled “Poems by Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell.” They chose these names, so as to retain their initials – Charlotte wrote as Currer, Anne as Acton, and Emily as Ellis.
